Jina Moore is a freelance journalist and a correspondent for the Christian Science Monitor. She specializes in human rights reporting in post-conflict environments. Her work has appeared in many outlets, including The Columbia Journalism Review, Newsweek, Foreign Policy, The Boston Globe, Congressional Quarterly Press and Best American Science Writing (2009). She is this year’s Reporting Award fellow with New York University’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute and a past Fulbright fellow in journalism. She has reported from 10 African countries, twice with fellowships from the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting.
