On her way to Notre Dame, Eva loses time as she gets caught up in a demonstration of teachers. Since there's no chance of advancing, the player sacrifices points to buy a tool. Voilà Edmond, Eva's personal chauffeur.
En route to the second hand booksellers at Notre-Dame, Eva gets held up by a demonstration of teachers. The sinister Man in the Black Hat follows her. To get Eva out of the crowd and away from the man, the player buys a remote control and Edmond the taxi driver, who will always be at Eva's service, appears.
