Looking for fossils in the North Sea

October 21, 2013

Dick Mol from the Netherlands is on a quest to find fossils in the North Sea. He regularly heads out with fishermen to sift through their nets for remains of Ice Age animals. Millennia ago, this part of the Eurogeul channel used to be a steppe connecting what are now the British Isles with mainland Europe. Mol's finds help piece together the puzzle of the prehistoric past.
