Living Planet: Rethinking tourism in Barcelona

Barcelona was the most visited city in Spain in 2019, with over 12 million visitors. Plans to attract even more people by expanding the city’s international airport have angered environmental groups, who say the city is already saturated with visitors and struggling to meet its climate targets. The plans also fly in the face of the city's green credentials, finds Ashish Sharma.
