Latvia is holding its Nation Wide Song and Dance Celebration. It’s an event which happens every five years and attracts thousands of participants, viewers and tourists in Riga. But it’s the singing and music which lies at the heart of the celebration. And as Gederts Gelzis reports from Riga, the song festival is more than just an old tradition for most Latvians.
