Christian Kreutz is an advocate for open knowledge and new forms of citizen participation. He is the director of crisscrossed, a company which offers innovative solutions for knowledge sharing and focuses on user participation and achieving best results, for instance through an innovative idea-sharing tool called WE THINQ. He is co-founder and board member of the German Open Knowledge Foundation, lecturer of data-driven journalism at the University of Darmstadt in Germany and founder of Create Frankfurt, a German-language citizen participation network for local politics, which has received media attention across the country. Kreutz has worked with various international and national organizations such as the World Bank, the KfW development bank, GIZ, UNDP and many others.
