Many Iranian journalists working for foreign media outlets say officials back home are harassing their family members in an attempt to silence critical reporting from abroad. DW spoke to some of the affected journalists.
A pro-government march has been organized in the capital in response to international criticism of Iranian authorities. Tehran has said it would severely punish any "mercenaries" arrested for causing civil unrest.
Tehran said in a letter to the UN that it was "determined to resolutely continue" enriching uranium. This came following an EU letter rebuking the government and a Russian firm suspending cooperation.
The rights group condemned the deaths as evidence that Iran's security forces went "on a horrific killing spree." Iran has not provided an updated death toll of its own.
