Iran threatens to retaliate against outside intervention

As Iran's protests grow, so do expressions of support for the protesters in other nations. Iran's government is making a point of projecting strength to the US and Israel as their leaders expressed support for activists.

Demonstrators rallied in Paris, Vilnius and London to support Iran's ongoing protests. Activists urged Western governments to back Iranians seeking freedom. World leaders weighed in: Donald Trump pledged US support, while Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu condemned mass killings and voiced hope for regime change. Iran's President Pezeshkian blamed foreign interference, as lawmakers threatened US and Israel amid reports Trump reviewed military options.
