DW Akademie is still accepting online applications for the "International Media Studies" Master's Program until April 30th, 2016. Scholarships are available for applicants from developing and transition countries.

The bilingual, four-semester Master's Program combines the field of media and development with journalism, communications and media economics. Successful students are awarded the academic title "Master of Arts (M.A.)". The University of Bonn offers top IMS graduates the opportunity to pursue a doctorate.
The program is designed primarily for young journalists and media professionals such as media managers and communications staff from developing and transition countries. However, candidates from Western countries including the Europe, the U.S., Canada, Australia or New Zealand may also apply for the program.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent
• At least 12 months of professional experience in a media-related field gathered after completion of an undergraduate degree. Applicants for full scholarships must provide proof of one additional year of professional experience
• Proof of advanced German and English language skills
Intensive German Course
This year again, first semester students will have the opportunity to take part in an intensive German course which will take place during the winter term along with regular lectures and seminars.
Tuition Fees and Scholarships
The tuition fee is 6,000 EUR. We grant full scholarships to up to 10 applicants from developing and transition countries each year. Furthermore, a limited number of partial scholarships are available.
