A conservative Senator from Italy’s League party says he wants to improve the life of divorced fathers. Simone Pillon has proposed a controversial bill that would end alimony and see children shared equally by their parents. Some 800,000 divorced fathers in Italy live on or under the poverty line as a result of their divorce. Angelo Van Schaik met up with one of them in Bologna.
