At a time when many in Europe are building walls and fencing off their countries, the French city of Strasbourg and the German city of Kehl are knocking down a few instead. The two cities have just inaugurated a new tram that runs between them – in one of the very few cross-border tram services on the continent. Kate Hairsine went to take a ride.
