In Hungary, new data from the EU and even the country’s authorities shows that more than 2.5 million people are impoverished and facing a difficult Christmas this year. Many of them are children living in poverty. Church groups have launched Operation Christmas Child in order to distribute presents and basic goods to these poor children and their families.
