Annelie Gröniger, born in 1957, has been responsible for DW’s compliance department and the company's contact person for prevention of corruption since 2016.
Gröniger holds a law degree from Münster University. After completing her legal clerkship she worked as a tutor at distance-learning college "Fernuniversität Hagen." She joined DW in 1994 and has held various positions as a legal expert.
Annelie Gröniger is head of compliance and in charge of all corruption-related issues, on the part of employees as well as business partners and other third parties.
In case of relevant findings she has an obligation to report the matter to the Director General and the Administrative Director. This information can be limited in order to protect the anonymity of the interlocutor.
DW has also appointed independent lawyer Dr. Stefanie Lejeune (Berlin) as external anti-corruption officer.
