Greece is fast running out of cash.
Officials in Russia's Primorsky region said they found voting irregularities in favor of the Kremlin-backed candidate. Andrei Tarasenko mounted an improbable comeback by winning all of the last 20,000 ballots counted.
Russia's Vladimir Putin has taken a more conciliatory tone, after his Defense Ministry held Israel "completely" accountable for a jet shot down over Syria. Putin spoke of "a chain of tragic accidental circumstances."
The Russian President and his Turkish counterpart have met in Sochi to strike a deal over rebel-held Idlib province in Syria. The two leaders have several issues where they are keen to score points.
