Greece has sworn in its new Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, after his center right New Democrats swept to victory in parliamentary elections.
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has said Greece will ease taxes on its citizens while upholding austerity targets set by foreign lenders. The new premier vowed growth plans would be a "pleasant surprise for Europe."
After winning the election in a landslide victory, Kyrikos Mitsotakis has been sworn in as prime minister. He takes over from Alexis Tsipras, who led Greece through the final years of its international bailouts.
