42-year-old Holger Luedorf is one of them. He's one of the vice presidents of a successful company, Foursquare. He moved to California in 2005. Cyriac Roeding is another successful German IT entrepreneur. He was already doing well in Europe when, in 2009, he founded the Shopkick company with his US partner Jeff Sellinger.
