Pressure continues to mount for Chancellor Angela Merkel amidst the ongoing refugee crisis. Bavaria’s conservative CSU fears the cracks are showing despite her "we can do this” mantra. And they’re not alone; dispute is rife within the coalition. Difficulties reuniting Syrian refugees with their families continue to cause tension, coupled with Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière’s return to the Dublin Regulation. How will Germany overcome the crisis? Can the Chancellor keep the gates open forever? Are we anywhere near finding a European solution?

Find out if Chancellor Merkel has the answers as she faces ZDF’s top journalists Peter Frey and Bettina Schausten.
