German Government to Resurrect Job Forum

German Economics Minister Wolfgang Clement told the German daily Berliner Zeitung that he had met with Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder to discuss the resurrection of the Alliance for Jobs forum. The initiative brings officials from the government, trade unions and business together to discuss ways of cutting unemployment. "The Chancellor and I want to bring everyone responsible for the economy and jobs around a table," said Clement.
