Customer service in call centers hardly has the best reputation. Minimum pay, undemanding tasks and not the cleverest of staff don’t exactly help the situation. But the head of the Cologne based Call Centre AIC is fighting to change this perception.
He calls his employees "specialists” and talks of high quality - "Made in Germany.” And it’s not just a promotional tactic: Airlines are pulling the plug on call centers in Ireland and Turkey in favor of German Companies like AIC.
