They come from Italy, Austria, Sweden and Germany - young Europeans eager to see how they measure up. They are all apprentices in various trades, for example, mechanics or electricians.

The competition will be held in early October at the famous Spa racing circuit near Brussels. It's the third European Trade Championship. There, people at the beginning of their careers will be showing what European tradesmen and -women can do. Report by Marion Hütter.
