Nakandi Peninah is a Ugandan para-badminton player and passionate environmentalist. Born with short stature, she advocates for urban planning and climate action that do not leave persons with disabilities behind. Peninah calls for equal opportunities and inclusive environmental action – because climate change affects everyone, and its impacts are often harsher for the most vulnerable. At the same time, she stresses everybody has a duty to preserve the environment.
