Japan grants first export approval to South Korea - Cambodia tries putting sparkle into gem market
South Korea has cut intelligence cooperation with Japan in the latest tit-for-tat escalation between the two countries. The decision is a blow to the United States as it seeks to expand East Asia security cooperation.
South Korea has said it will withdraw Japan from its fast-track trade list. The announcement comes after Japan placed export restrictions on South Korea.
