The United Nation's refugee agency warns that a humanitarian crisis of 'extraordinary proportions' is about to hit the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Since last year, violence in the southeastern province of Tanganyika has displaced 630,000 people.
DR Congo has shunned a donors' conference in Geneva aimed at raising billions in aid, saying the country is being given a 'bad image' by the UN. Some 5 million people in the country have been displaced by conflict.
