Dieselgate suffocates German industrial city Salzgitter

Volkswagen's switch to electric-powered engines will leave thousands of workers out of a job. Salzgitter, where these workers are based, is already struggling with a drop in tax revenue from its biggest business. The combination of job cuts and tax drop poses a serious problem for the city.
