Jisun Chung is a senior research fellow and director of the Center for Global Cooperation at Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training, a national policy research institute focused on human resource and skills development in Korea. She earned her Ph.D. at the University of Toronto, Canada, specializing in the developmental forces of education and its relationship with economic development.
Chung’s main research area is lifelong vocational education in higher education to facilitate smooth work-to-school and school-to-work transitions. Her research works are mainly aimed at providing policy advice, especially on the measures and implications of skills development of adults and employability policies.
