Can young people volunteer to work on DW Akademie projects abroad?

DW Akademie is a partner of kulturweit, a program that gives young people the opportunity to spend up to 12 months abroad doing voluntary service in the fields of culture or education.

It is run by the German UNESCO Commission in cooperation with Germany's Federal Foreign Office. Since the program got underway in 2009, many volunteers have worked on DW Akademie projects conducted in countries such as Bolivia, Tanzania and Namibia. You can find more information about the program and how to apply here(in German).
