Borussia Dortmund midfielder Nuri Sahin is out for the rest of the season.

Sahin, 26, hasn't featured for the club since its 3-0 win over Schalke on February 28. The tendon injury in his groin, which he picked up in the final minutes of the Ruhrderby win, has not healed.

This means that Nuri Sahin will miss Dortmund's German Cup final against Wolfsburg on May 30, and will not play under the stewardship of Jürgen Klopp again before his departure.

Borussia Dortmund manager Jürgen Klopp, who was speaking at a press conference before his sides game against Hertha Berlin this weekend, also confirmed that midfielder Marco Reus won't play against the German capital club.

"There's nothing torn or anything," said Klopp at his press conference on Thursday. "I talked to him before the Bayern match and he felt ready, also for 120 minutes."

Reus, 25, is still recovering from adductor problems whilst goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller has returned to training following pelvic contusion and adductor problems, will also miss Saturday's game at home to Hertha Berlin.
