Journalist, Editor and Anchor-Woman at the ARD-Morgenmagazin/WDR
Golineh Atai was born in Teheran, but grew up and studied in Germany, where she now works for ARD. In the past she has worked as a freelance journalist for different broadcasting stations (radio and TV), such as SWR, SDR, Radio France, ZDF and Phoenix. Between 2004 and 2008 Atai worked, lived and traveled in several countries of the Middle and Far East (Egypt, Lebanon, Sudan and India). Since May 2008 she has been an editor and anchor-woman for the ARD-Morgenmagazin. Her work has been nominated for various awards, among others for the Grimme-Award in 2007.
