We examine the growing trend of museums attracting big crowds to their special exhibitions. Many German museums have benefited. The National Gallery's MoMa exhibition of 2004 pulled in 1.2 million visitors, and the Frida Kahlo exhibition in 2010 attracted almost 500,000 to the Martin Gropius Bau .We examine this success story with museum experts Ulrich Reinhardt and Katharina von Chlebowski.
