DW GLOBAL MEDIA FORUM

Are you a media start-up? Are you into boot camps? Be part of the GMF 2019!

For the first time, DW's Global Media Forum is running a boot camp for media start-ups. We're inviting you to pitch your media start-up to international investors and a global audience. So join us from May 24-28 in Bonn!

Together with the Staatskanzlei NRW, Global Media Forum (GMF) help you to take your media start-up to the next level. During the boot camp, we'll be offering media start-ups from all over the world two days of training, one day of preparation and an opportunity to pitch your project at the end. The jury consists of international investors, and for the winner, the prize includes:

  • Reporting on your start-up on our DW-platforms
  • Two days of media training tailored to your needs, from the DW Akademie
  • The opportunity to present your start-up at the GMF on May 28

How to join the boot camp from May 24-27

Our jury will review and invite the most promising applicants to join the Global Media Forum 2019 in Bonn. Invited participants will receive a full conference ticket (worth €299) and a refund of travel and hotel expenses.

All you have to do is email your pitch as a pdf to bootcamp@dw.com by April 30, 2019. Briefly answer these three questions:

  • Who are you?
  • What do you do and how was your start-up developed?
  • Why do you want to take part in the boot camp?
