Pritzker Prize winner Balkrishna Doshi is an eco-pioneer who builds buildings to cause the least ecological damage to its surroundings. His housing project are lauded worldwide for being environmentally and socially sustainable.
Balkrishna Doshi has won the Pritzker Architecture Prize, becoming the first Indian to win the highest honor in architecture. The 90-year-old architect has dedicated his life's work to empowering the poor.
