Morten Storm grew up in a small Danish town. He led a troubled life and converted to Islam. At age 21, he befriended one of the most-wanted Al Qaeda terrorists: Anwar al-Awlaki. Later, Storm helped security services kill him.
Danish security officials have accused Iranian intelligence of "planning an attack on Danish soil" against Iranian Arab dissidents. Tehran has linked recent terrorist attacks inside Iran to European-based separatists.
At least 18 people have been killed in Mogadishu after two bombers struck the city's government quarter. The attacks were later claimed by al-Shabab terrorists.
