Once a month, up to 250 people gather in Berlin's Kreuzberg district for a rather special three course meal. It's a charitable event called the Homeless Veggie Dinner and, as the name suggests, its main aim is to provide a free vegetarian meal for people living on the streets. But this is much more than a soup kitchen as Lavinia Pitu discovered when she went along to one of the dinners.
