A Rare Few - Debt-free Cities in Germany

Only a few cities in Germany have no public debt. After Düsseldorf and Dresden, Langenfeld in the Rhineland is Germany's third-largest debt-free city. Langenfeld is a prime example of how city hall doesn't have to conduct a fire sale to eliminate its debts. Financial discipline is the key.
