Yılın en iyi vahşi yaşam fotoğrafları
92 ülkeden 50 bin fotoğrafçı Londra Doğa Tarihi Müzesi'nin "Yılın Vahşi Yaşam Fotoğrafçısı" ödülü için yarıştı. İşte insanoğlunun acımasızlığını ve vahşi yaşamın güzelliğini gözler önüne seren yılın en iyi fotoğrafları:
Son nefesinde bile görkemli
Kaçak avcılar, bu siyah gergedanı öldürerek boynuzlarını kesmişler. Güney Afrika'da bir doğal koruma alanında çekilen bu fotoğrafın sahibi Brent Stirton. Jüri, fotoğrafın "doğaya karşı işlenen en korkunç suçlardan biri" olduğunu belirterek, 2017'nin vahşi yaşam fotoğrafı olarak seçti.
Dinlenen goril
Kongo'daki Odzala Ulusal Parkı'nda dinlenen bu goril bir yandan da önündeki bu sarı küreyle oynuyor. Daniel Preis bu portresiyle genç yetenekler bölümünde "Yılın Vahşi Yaşam Fotoğrafçısı" ödülüne layık görüldü. Jüri fotoğrafın, insanlarla goriller arasındaki benzerliği ironik biçimde ortaya koyduğunu belirtti.
Büyü mü?
Parıldayan binlerce ateş böceği Brazilya/Savana'da yıldızlı bir geceyi aydınlatıyor. Fotoğrafı Emas Ulusal Parkı'nda çeken Marcio Cabral'in büyüleyici karesinde, yağmur sonrası bir termit tepeciğine tırmanan minik ateş böcekleri görülüyor.
Fantastik sualtı dünyasından kareler
Doğa fotoğrafçısı ve yazar Laurent Ballesta'ya ait ve teknik açıdan mükemmel denebilecek bu fotoğraf pek çok açıdan benzersiz. Zira şimdiye kadar hiç kimse Antarktik'te bu derinliğe dalabilmiş değil. Deniz dibindeki yaşamı su yüzüne çıkaran bu eser 147 karenin birleşmesiyle oluşmuş.
Derin sularda iğne aramak
Istakoz ve böcek larvaları aslında pek çok balık için vazgeçilmez besin kaynaklarından. Anthony Berberian Tahiti'de bir gece, avın avcı olduğu bir kare yakalamış. 12 milimetrelik bu canlının bu zarif portresi, Fransız sanatçıya En İyi Sualtı Fotoğrafı Ödülü’nü kazandırdı.
Kafayı bozmamak lazım!
ABD'nin Yellowstone Ulusal Parkı'nda çekilmiş bu kare, New Jersey'li 13 yaşındaki Ashleigh Scully'e ait. Scully, kadrajına giren av peşindeki bu azimli tilkinin tüm çabalarına rağmen avına ulaşamadığını aktardı.
Siyah-beyaz buz dünyası
Eilo Elvinger'in bu fotoğrafı siyah-beyaz olmasına rağmen kontrastları ve buz kristallerinin ayı postlarının üzerindeki parıltısıyla göz alıyor. Sanatçıya siyah-beyaz kategorisindeki bu yılki ödülü getiren karede, tamamı görünmese de anne kutup ayısı ve 2 yaşındaki yavrusunun ayakları görülüyor.
Kime bakmıştınız?
5 yaşındaki Ekatarina Bee sıkı bir doğa tutkunu. Norveç/Flatanger'de bir tekne gezisinde geziye eşlik eden iki martının meraklı bakışları, küçük sanatçının objektifine bu şekilde yakalanmış. Gözlemcinin gözlenen rolüne dönüşümünü güzel bir şekilde yansıtan bu kare, doğa fotoğrafçılığında yeni bir yeteneği de safına katmış oldu.
Rüyaya devam!
Uganda'daki Kibala Ulusal Parkı'nda mahmur bakışlarla yatan bu şempanze, fotoğrafın sahibi Peter Delaney'e göre dişisini baştan çıkarmaya çalışıp başarılı olamamış. Maymunun iç dünyasını yansıtan bu fotoğraf "En iyi hayvan portresi ödülünün" sahibi oldu.
Yerinden edilen canlılar
Çevre fotoğrafçısı Aaron Gekoski'nin bu fotoğrafı, palmiye yağı üretiminin doğal yaşam alanlarını yok edici etkisini gözler önüne seriyor. Borneo'daki bir fil ailesinin üç jenerasyonu, palmiye ekim alanının çevresindeki daracık patikadan ilerlemeye çalışıyor.
Oynaşan devler
Fotoğrafçı Tony Wu'nun objektifine Sri Lanka'daki bir dalışta yüzlerce ispermeçet balinası takılmış. Wu, bu hayvanların sadece çıkardıkları seslerle değil birbirine dokunarak da iletişim kurduğunu belirtiyor. İspermeçet balinası avı 1986'dan beri yasak ancak tür yok olma tehlikesini atlatabilmiş değil. Bu balina türü Dünya Doğa ve Doğal Kaynakları Koruma Birliği'nin kırmızı listesinde yer alıyor.
