Mülteci çocuklar: Onlar sadece fotoğraf değil
Mülteciler, birçok Berlinli için savaş ve terörden kaçan isimsiz yabancılar. Fotoğrafçı Daniel Sonnentag, “Onların Bir Adı Var” adlı fotoğraf sergisi ile medyadaki soyut mülteci tanımına somut bir boyut verdi.
Fotoğrafların ardındaki çocuklar
Şahid, Berlin’deki Uluslararası Kongre Merkezi’nde (ICC) yaşayan 140 çocuktan biri. Daniel Sonnentag burada yaşayan çocukların ve ailelerinin fotoğraflarını çekip “They Have Names” (Onların Bir Adı Var) adlı bir sergi hazırladı. Sanatçının amacı, birçok Berlinli'nin kafasındaki soyut mülteci teriminin ardındaki insani boyutu ortaya çıkarmak ve bu çocukların hikâyelerini kamuoyuna duyurmak.
Hafızalara kazınan anıların yükü
Elham, 8 yaşında, Suriye’den gelen bir Kürt kızı. Daniel Sonnentag, Elham’ın gözlerinde genelde acı yüklü bir ifade olduğunu vurguluyor. Fotoğrafçı, Elham’ın yine de bazen tıpkı diğer yaşıtları gibi gülüp oynadığını belirtiyor. Sonnentag “Elham mutlu iken, onun melankolik hali ile o anki mutluluğunun kombinasyonu çok özel bir ifade orta çıkarıyor” diyor.
Bekleme oyunu
Ali yaklaşık 4 yaşında, Irak’tan geliyor. Ailesinin iltica başvurusu kısa bir süre önce reddedildi. Aile şu anda iltica sürecinde kararın bozulması için avukat arayışında. Berlin’deki Uluslararası Kongre Merkezi’nde yaşayan sığınmacılar, yasal statüleri hakkında verilecek karar için yaklaşık bir yıl bekliyorlar.
Kaos
Zeynep, 8 Rukiye de 6 yaşında. Irak’tan gelmişler. Sonnentag sığınmacılardan sorumlu idari kurumlarda kaosun hakim olduğu görüşünde. Sonnentag idari beceriksizlikler, artan yabancı düşmanlığı ve kişisel trajedilerden oluşan bir dizi problem karşısında insanın kendini boşa kürek çekiyormuş gibi hissettiğini söylüyor.
Bir dil öğrenmek
Sonnentag kendi fotoğrafını da Zeynep ile birlikte çekmiş. Fotoğrafçı Zeynep’i „akıllı, esprili ve yaşına göre çok olgun“ olarak tanımlıyor. Kamptaki diğer çocuklar gibi Zeynep de Almancayı hızlıca söküvermiş. Ancak Almanca öğrenmek yetişkinler için o kadar kolay olmuyor. Sonnentag tandem şeklinde karşılıklı dil öğrenme ve öğretme programlarının yetişkinler için çok faydalı olduğunu vurguluyor.
Ortak yanlarımız farklı yanlarımızdan fazla
Fotoğrafta 6 yaşındaki Alma ve 33 yaşındaki babası Ahmed görünüyor. Sonnentag kamptaki insanları desteklemenin iyi yolunun oraya gidip doğrudan yardım etmek olduğunu söylüyor. Fotoğrafçı “Hepimiz yemek yiyip, su içiyor ve ailemizin güvenli bir yerde olmasını istiyoruz. İnsanlar birbiri ile konuşup tanışmaya başladıklarında, ortak yanlarının farklı olanlardan daha ağır bastığını fark ediyor” diyor.
Başlıkların ötesindeki çocuklar
Sonnentag 7 yaşındaki Iraklı Zehra’ya ilişkin “Mütevazı, hayalperest, hassas bir kız ve kocaman bir yüreği var” diyor.
Almanya’da güçlü bir aile
Aya 6 yaşında, abisi Hamza ise 7. Kız kardeşleri Alma ve 6 aylık erkek kardeşleri Rayan ile birlikte Suriye’den Almanya’ya gelmişler. Sonnentag Hamza için „harika ve hassas bir çocuk“ ifadesini kullanıyor ve muhteşem ve sevgi dolu ailesi sayesinde Hamza’nın bir gün güçlü ve dürüst bir adam olacağını söylüyor.
Kongre Merkezi’nden mülteci kampına
Berlin’deki Uluslararası Kongre Merkezi (ICC) bir zamanlar Avrupa‘nın en büyüğüydü. Ancak asbest tespit edilen bina 2014'te kullanıma kapatıldı. Bina, Almanya’ya gelen birçok sığınmacıya kalacak bir yer sağlayabilmek için 2016 yılının başında yeniden açıldı. Şu an bu merkezde Suriye, Irak, İran, Afganistan, Eritre ve Balkan ülkelerinden gelen yaklaşık 600 sığınmacı yaşıyor. ©Deutsche Welle Türkçe
