BALKANLAR SULAR ALTINDA
Sırbistan ve Bosna Hersek son 120 yılın en yoğun yağışlarına maruz kaldı. Bölgenin büyük bir bölümü sular altında. Yüzlerce kişi evlerini terk etmek zorunda kaldı. Yoğun yağış devam ediyor.
Sırbistan'a rekor yağış
Dalgıç kıyafetli bir polis başkent Belgrad’a bağlı Lazarevac’ın sular altında kalan caddesinde ilerlemeye çalışıyor. Yetkililer sadece 40 saatte iki aylık yağışın düştüğünü açıkladı
İlerlemek mümkün değil
Sırbistan başkenti Belgrad’da trafik kilitlendi. Devlet olağanüstü hal ilan etti. Başbakan Aleksandar Vucic, durumu “Sırbistan’ın şimdiye kadar yaşadığı en kötü doğal afet” olarak açıkladı.
Sokaklar çamur deryası
Bosna kenti Zenica’ya bağlı Topcic Polje’de meydana gelen heyelan sonrası köyün bir bölümü sular altında kaldı. Aynı zamanda başkent Saraybosna’dan da geçen Miljacka nehrinin taşması nedeniyle yüzlerce evin dış dünyayla bağlantısı kesildi.
Geçiş yok
Demir ve karayolları bağlantıları sekteye uğradı, çok sayıda araç yolda kaldı. Sırbistan ile Karadağ arasındaki demiryolu ulaşımı kesildi.
Tahliye çalışmaları
Nehirlerin taşması nedeniyle Sırbistan ve Bosna Hersek’in birçok kent ve köy sakini yaşadığı yerleri terk etmek zorunda kaldı. Her iki ülkede askeri birlikler halkın tahliyesine yardımcı olmaya çalışıyor. Bölgede 100 bin hanenin elektriği kesildi.
Yardım gecikmedi
Afetzedeler helikopter, kurtarma botları ve amfibik araçlarla güvenli yerlere naklediliyor. Biri itfaiyeci olmak üzere şu ana kadar beş kişi sellerde boğuldu.
Mecburî tatil
Okullar kapalı, spor karşılaşmaları iptal edildi. Sırbistan ve Bosna Hersek hâlâ sellerle mücadele ediyor. ©Deutsche Welle Türkçe
