Shambulio katika kanisa nchini Nigeria

Wakati baadhi ya raia wa Nigeria wakiendelea kuomboleza kufuatia vifo vya zaidi ya watu 40 walioshambuliwa mwishoni mwa mwaka jana na kundi la Boko Haram, tukio kama hilo limejirudia tena usiku wa kuamkia leo.

Mashambulio nchini Nigeria

Ikiwa ni juma moja tu tangu kutokea kwa mkasa huo uliosababisha vifo vya zaidi ya watu 40, kumetokea shambulio lingine jijini Gombe na kupotea maisha ya waumini sita wa dini ya Kikristo.

Kwa mujibu wa taarifa ya serikali ya Rais Goodluck Jonathan, shambulio hilo liliotokea usiku wa kuamkia leo limewajeruhi watu wengine kumi.

Tukio hilo limeshuhudiwa katika mji wa kaskazini mashariki mwa Nigeria, siku chache tu baada ya mabomu mawili kulipuliwa jijini Maiduguri na Damaturu.

Akielezea mkasa huo, Ofisa mmoja wa kanisa la Deeper Life Church,  Ishaya Bako, ameliambia Shirika la Habari la Ujerumani kuwa anaamini wapiganaji hao waliovamia waumini wa kanisa hilo ni wafuasi wa kundi la Kiislam la Boko Haramu.

Wapiganaji hao waliokuwa na silaha kali walishambulia kanisa hilo wakati ibada ikiendelea na kuwafyatulia risasi waumini, tukio lililomuua pia mke wa mchungaji wa kanisa hilo.

Wapiganaji hao walilishambulia kanisa katoliki la mjini Madala, siku ya mkesha wa Noeli na kuua watu ishirini na sita, papo hapo.

Boko Haram ni kundi la Kiislamu ambalo linaishinikiza serikali ya Nigeria itumie sheria za kiislamu, wito ambao unapigwa vita na wengi, hususan waumini wa kikristo.

Kikundi cha Boko Haram ndicho kinachohusika na mashambulizi nchini Nigeria

Wakiendelea na kampeni hiyo, viongozi wa Boko Haram walitoa sharti la mwisho kwa wakristo, kuhakikisha wanahama kutoka eneo la Kusini mwa nchi hiyo. Waumini hao walipewa siku tatu kutimiza sharti hilo na muda huo uliisha siku ya Jumatano.

Wakazi hao wa eneo la kusini, ambao wengi wao ni wakristo hawakutilia maanani sharti hilo, na baadhi yao wakaona ni kitisho.

Licha ya Rais Goodluck Jonathan kutangaza hali ya hatari, kundi la Boko Haram linaendelea kusababisha kizaazaa nchini Nigeria, hali inayozua maswali mengi ya kwa nini wapiganaji hawa hawadhibitiwi, ilhali serikali hiyo ina majeshi.
