Dlaczego lubimy mieszkać w mieście? Niemiecka minister budownictwa Barbara Hendricks ogłosiła konkurs fotograficzny na temat różnorodności i sąsiedztwa w mieście. Nagrodzono pięć zdjęć.
I miejsce: Inny plac zabaw w Halle
Ładne i przyjemne nie oznacza wypolerowane na wysoki połysk. Na zdjęciu, którego autor zdobył pierwsze miejsce, dzieciaki przednio bawią się orbitrekiem, sprzętem fitness ustawionym na tle zniszczonej fasady budynku z zamurowanymi oknami. Ta dzielnica Halle przeżyła już lepsze czasy.
II miejsce: Lato w śródmieściu Siegen

III miejsce: Pelargonie i sąsiedzkie pogaduszki w Berlinie
Niepozorne budownictwo z okresu powojennego, płotek, pelargonie na balkonach – właściwie nie dzieje się w tej berlińskiej dzielnicy nic spektakularnego. Uzasadnienie jury: To zdjęcie niczego nie upiększa i nie idealizuje, lecz pokazuje zwykłe, sąsiedzkie pogaduszki.
IV miejsce: Dobra zabawa w Berlinie
Festyn na jednej z ulic berlińskiej metropolii w atmosferze dobrej zabawy. To właśnie polot Berlina tak fascynuje jego mieszkańców. Celem konkursu fotograficznego było pokazanie różnych aspektów życia w dzielnicach miasta – z perspektywy ich mieszkańców.
V miejsce: Jesteśmy miastem w Wuppertalu
Co dokładnie oznacza społeczna więź w dzielnicy miasta? Ta uliczna scena pokazuje, jak ludzie przejmują ulicę na własne potrzeby. Konkurs fotograficzny jest częścią kampanii pod hasłem „Więcej miejsca na wspólne przedsięwzięcia: To ty jesteś miastem”. Federalne ministerstwo budownictwa zamierza tą kampanią pokazać przykłady integracji, różnorodności i społecznych więzi.
