Hrvatski generali na slobodi

Suđenje trojici hrvatskih generala Anti Gotovini, Mladenu Markaču i Ivanu Čermaku na Međunarodnom sudu ICTY-ju umnogome je odredilo put Hrvatske od 2001. na ovamo. Sva trojica su pravomoćno oslobođena krivice.

The appeals court overturned on Friday the conviction of Gotovina, the most senior Croatian military officer charged with war crimes during the Balkan conflict of the 1990s. Gotovina had been jailed for 24 years. The conviction of Markac, who had been serving an 18-year sentence, was also overturned.
