Deux jours après les élections générales, le président sortant semble arriver en tête des suffrages. Le décompte se poursuit pour un scrutin marqué par une assez bonne mobilisation des électeurs.

Au scrutin présidentiel, le président sortant Ernest Boi Koroma brigue un nouveau mandat face à l'ancien général Julius Maada Bio.
