ASEAN, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, will be entering a new phase in 2015, when it moves towards close economic integration. But the member states are widely diverse. Singapore, for instance, will be one of the wealthiest countries in the single market, while Myanmar, also a member, is one of the world's poorest countries.
