France has a new protest movement. The Nuit Debout or Up-At-Nighters began when demonstrators against an employment legislation reform bill decided not to go home afterwards but to make a night of it in the Place de la République. Now these nightly gatherings have spread to over fifty cities and towns in France and even abroad.
