WorldLink: Crude contamination

Environmentalists rate Nigeria’s Niger Delta as the most polluted oil producing region in the world. The region has suffered more than fifty years of frequent oil spills mainly from the installations of western oil companies. But villagers hardly get compensation when they seek redress in local courts, which is why they are looking to Europe.
