World in Progress: San Francisco's peeing problem

Many public areas in San Francisco smell badly, because people relieve themselves out in the streets. The reason: there are not enough public restrooms for locals and tourists. The issue is fueled by a growing number of homeless people in the city. Public attendants now knock on toilet doors after five minutes to make sure the next person in line gets to use the toilet, too.
