World in Progress: Mozambique's health sector is improving

Mozambique has made remarkable progress in reducing child mortality rates in the past 15 years. The country is on its way to achieving Millennium Development Goal 4. But with poor infrastructure, tiny health budgets and lack of health professionals, Mozambique still faces significant challenges, especially in remote rural areas.
