World in Progress: Living with violence in Honduras

Violence and murders are an everyday reality for people living in Central America. Organized crime and youth gangs have made Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala the most violent countries in the world in recent years, with dire impacts for the lives of ordinary people. Despite police efforts, most of the murders committed go unpunished.
