World in Progress: Braving Jakarta's Traffic Jams

Indonesia's capital Jakarta is notorious for its traffic jams, the "macets". Up to a third of a journey is spent waiting. There are about 10 million people in Jakarta alone plus millions more people from surrounding regions, many of whom commute every day. And there are few public transport options. Sarah Steffen finds out how people get around and how they cope with the traffic.
