Malaysian police have arrested a woman for suspected involvement in the death of North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un’s half-brother. Kim Jong-Nam was walking through the departure hall at Kuala Lumpur International Airport when he collapsed.
The women broke down as they toured the Kuala Lumpur airport as part of their murder trial. Both maintain that they were tricked into smearing the deadly chemical agent, after being told it was a harmless prank.
Two women pleaded not guilty to murdering the half-brother of North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un as their trial got underway in Malaysia. They deny having knowingly rubbed the toxic VX nerve agent in Kim Jong Nam's face.
Despite the fact that other suspects were not questioned, two women are the only people being tried for the murder of N. Korean exile Kim Jong Nam. Claiming they were tricked, both face the death penalty if convicted.
US President Donald Trump has praised his own ability as an arbitrator, offering to mediate in the South China Sea dispute. However, diplomatic skills were not very evident in his latest taunt to North Korea.
