Well, of course Beck's is the best. From Bremen, I guess. -- Harry Oliveto

I was a US soldier in Amberg (Bavaria) in 1983 and love the Schneider Weisse best. I tried many beers but this one has a sweet and nutty flavor with good yeast. Prost! -- Carl Sloan

Löwenbräu Pils -- Edwin Brott

I just read the article on the different beer brands there in Germany and enjoyed it. For one thing, I was glad to learn of so many brands and how they are different depending on the area one may be in. -- Sidney E Mathious

My name is Brian, I am from Ontario Canada. Being from a beer loving nation myself, I admit I am a big fan of German beers. There are many different brands I have had including Warsteiner, Holstein, DAB, Beck's, and a couple of others though I can't remember the names. Very good beer! I bet it tastes better in Germany though than here. Heineken is one of my favorite beers of all. I can't wait to go to Europe to sample all the various different beers/ales I've never heard of to truly understand the love of beer over in Europe. -- Brian Glen

I definitely prefer the only right Budweiser in the world -- the Czech one! -- Ludmila

Budvar from the Czech Republic should have it. Bud in America stole the name and doesn't even produce real beer, it has rice in it -- why don't they call it sake-like beer? Bud America owes many billions to the Czechs. -- Robert Hamill , US

I am from the United States. I prefer German beer, especially "Weissbier." The only American beer I like is Samuel Adams. Budweiser is garbage. -- Richard Heldmann
